RITWIK VERMA

Ritwik suffers from a multiple personality disorder. We are still figuring out who he really is. He has been found doing stand up comedy, acting, singing, writing poetry/songs, adapting plays, and mimicking celebrities during his spare time.

He started his on-stage journey in school, mimicking teachers and bollywood actors. In college, he participated in numerous cultural events winning awards as a stand up comic, singer, and poet. Eventually, he realized his duty as an Indian kid, and joined a software engineering firm. #GoodBoy

He trained at an improv theater in Bangalore for 3 years before moving to the US. In the Bay Area, he has been involved with the theater group – Naatak, for the last 6 years as an actor, writer, director and ‘driver to the costume designer’ (his wife).

Co-founding Masala Comedy club in 2019, Ritwik is passionate about stand up comedy and everything around it. He is always looking forward to connecting with like-minded, fun-loving people. If you are one of them, do reach out and say ‘Hi!’. 🙂
